Well... actually today it was walking. Decided that on my off days, I should probably get off my butt and do something. So I walked to Yonge & Eg & back which is about 10k. Forgot that power walking works totally different muscles than running. Fast forward a few hours after the walk and my butt is killing (but thanking me at the same time) but a good hurt.
Planning on making cheeseburgers and my homemade "special sauce" but because Maya's friend had a peanut allergy and my house is far from nut-free, decided to play it safe instead and let them have a McDonald's treat (FYI, McD's is nut-free). In doing so, I can proudly say that I was the one who introduced Haylee to one of life's greatest culinary pleasures: The Fries at McD's. C'mon...you know you love them.
One recipe I WISH I had: the sticky toffee pudding which I ate last night when out with my girls. Run, don't walk, to The Drake and order it. If you bring a friend, you should probably each order your own as you will not want to share, trust me.
Ummmm.... oral text in the form of a movie? Stacey and I watched The Proposal. Cute. Would probably been more enjoyable had it not been a Stars & Strollers viewing (the light are not as dim, the sound is turned down a bit, and crying babies are aplenty. This is the kind of the that should really be noted in the movie listings, dontcha think?).
