Day 15

Running:
Since it was only 3 miles, I decided to go for speed so I put on my favorite speed song, Church, by T-Pain. Great running song! It ended up being a teensy bit less than 3 miles since I was supposed to meet Maya and Len at the west-side Starbucks vs. the east-side Starbucks (where I usually end up) which is a difference of about 300m. I think that is ok, though, because when we are setting up the courses for competitive cross-country running in the fall, there is a 300m leeway allowance in terms of the course distance. Still have tight hamstrings. Maybe I am not drinking enough water...

Recipe:
Once again, not much...Too busy having fun with Maya all day. Len did bbq us some yummy hotdogs for us while Maya conducted her used book sale on the driveway. Would you buy a used princess book from a six-year-old wearing a crown & eating a giant hotdog slathered with ketchup. It may not be gourmet, but nothing beats a good bbq'ed hotdog on a summer afternoon.

Reading:
Almost done with Mr. Pip...taking some interesting twists. Would have finished had it not gotten too dark outside forcing me to come inside...and I didn't want to ruin the relaxing experience of reading outside under a blanket by doing some plain-old, run-of-the-mill reading in bed.

Qu'est-ce que c'est T-Pain? Does he/she/it do any Petula Clark covers? Downtown is a good running song - ermm, not that I've ever run to it. By the way, pls tell Maya I have a crown too - actually two. Ok, actually tiaras. I can't quite capture the regal look though. Maybe it's the flashing lights. Does hers flash?
